Connecting HouseCall Pro

Connecting HouseCall Pro to Field Onboard lets you sync estimates, contacts, and jobs. The setup is slightly different from Jobber since it uses an API key rather than OAuth.

How to Connect

• Go to Settings → Integrations (or during initial workspace setup, Step 1)

• Click Connect HouseCall Pro

• A configuration dialog will appear asking for:

- API Key — your HouseCall Pro API key (found in your HCP account settings)

- Webhook URL — the endpoint Field Onboard provides for receiving HCP events

Configuring the Webhook

To receive real-time updates from HouseCall Pro, you'll need to register the webhook URL that Field Onboard provides in your HouseCall Pro account:

• Copy the webhook URL shown in the configuration dialog

• In HouseCall Pro, navigate to your webhook/integration settings

• Add the webhook URL and select the events you want to forward

What Syncs

After connecting, Field Onboard syncs:

• Contacts — your HouseCall Pro customers
• Estimates — approved estimates appear in Review Quotes
• Jobs — recurring and one-off jobs appear in the Jobs section

Connection Status

Your HouseCall Pro connection can have these statuses:

• Connected — everything is working
• Needs Attention — the API key may be invalid or the webhook isn't receiving events
• Disconnected — the integration has been manually disconnected
