Agreement Statuses Explained

Understand what each agreement status means and how documents flow through them.

3 min read

Every agreement in Field Onboard moves through a set of statuses as it progresses from sent to signed.

Status Definitions

  • Pending — the agreement has been created and is waiting to be sent, or has been sent and is awaiting the customer's action. Agreements that have been sent, viewed, or are in a created state all show as Pending.
  • Completed — the customer has signed the agreement. The signed PDF is stored and available for download.
  • Expired — the agreement was not signed within the allowed timeframe and is no longer active.
  • Archived — a completed agreement that has been archived for record-keeping. You can archive completed agreements to keep your active list clean.

Filtering by Status

On the Agreements page, use the filter tabs to view agreements by status:

  • All — every agreement
  • Completed — signed agreements
  • Pending — agreements awaiting signature
  • Expired — agreements past their deadline
  • Archived — completed agreements you've archived

You can also search by agreement name or contact to find specific documents.
